Strategic Growth of Corby
Location: Priors Hall, Corby
Client: Bee Bee Developments
The strategic growth and regeneration of Corby seeks to combine green and brown field development as a route to improved housing standards and choice. The development at Priors Hall will transform a mostly derelict and abandoned site on the eastern flank of Corby to create a community of up to 5,100 homes and supporting facilities including the proposed relocation of the Corby Academy, within a parkland setting.
The proposals present the opportunity to create a new edge to Corby, characterised by a managed and well designed transition from urban to rural. On behalf of Bee Bee Developments, David Lock Associates are responsible for master planning and statutory planning matters. We are working closely with the local planning authority and multi-disciplinary consultant team to deliver an exceptional standard of development. Our current work includes the preparation of detailed design codes and the detailed master planning of a new district centre.
