Rugby Radio Station has been at the heart of the nation’s radio communication system since the first transmitter opened in 1926. Its central location adjacent to major transport networks and single ownership makes it a prime development
opportunity in the M1 / M6 Corridor between Birmingham and Milton Keynes.

DLA are promoting the development of a new community on the Rugby Radio Station site, on behalf of the Rugby Radio Station Limited Partnership. The
plans propose 9,000 homes, a high technology business area, mixed use development and community facilities including schools, health care facilities, parks and recreation grounds. Technology will be at the forefront of this new Broadband Community, and Rugby Radio Station will be the showcase where the community of tomorrow will become a reality.
