David Lock Associates has secured approval for revisions to the Radio Station Rugby Sustainable Urban Extension (SUE) outline permission.  The revised parameter plans incorporate changes to the alignment of the primary street network and the redistribution of some land uses.

This marks a major step in the scheme’s progression and reflects the natural evolution of developments of this scale and complexity.

Importantly, it enables the next suite of infrastructure reserved matters applications to be submitted, that will open up the western half of the development and make the connection to the Link Road.  The Link Road will connect the site with Butlers Leap and onwards to Rugby town centre and includes a new bridge over the Oxford Canal, the design and construction of which has also recently been approved by Rugby Borough Council.
