New homes planned for former industrial site in Derbyshire

David Lock Associates (DLA) has submitted an Outline Planning application on behalf of Tapton Estates for the redevelopment of a vacant industrial park in Derbyshire to make way for new homes.

Derwentside Industrial Park, formally the base for a major ladder manufacturer, sits on a 15-acre site in the southern part of the town of Belper, close to the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site, and has been closed since the occupier relocated in 2016. Read more »

A public engagement campaign is underway in Bury St Edmunds seeking the views of residents, visitors and workers on the future of the town and a proposed masterplan for the further enhancing of the historic and thriving town centre.
