DLA has won an appeal and had permission granted, on behalf of a private landowner, to build 10 dwellings in the village of Soulbury, near Leighton Buzzard.
The outline planning application for the small development was originally submitted in December 2016 but refused by Aylesbury Vale District Council in December 2017. The landowner appointed DLA to appeal the decision by written representations in May 2018 and a positive outcome was received in November 2018.
DLA coordinated and submitted both the application and the appeal, and our close involvement throughout led to a thorough and robust case being presented to the Planning Inspectorate.
The site, located south of Milton Keynes and to the north of Aylesbury, will contribute to much needed extra housing for the district providing high quality housing within an attractive and sustainable location.
