DLA has secured two unanimous resolutions to grant outline planning permission at committee for a major cross-boundary urban extension to Corby, on behalf of master developer Urban&Civic.
Both East Northamptonshire Council and Corby Borough Council have green lit the Priors Hall Zones 2 and 3 scheme at committees in November, subject to resolution of the joint S106 agreement by the end of the year. This marks a key milestone for the Urban&Civic scheme which will deliver some 3,500 new homes, 2 schools and local centres and substantial areas of green infrastructure. Construction will begin early in the new year.
Priors Hall represents the fifth Urban&Civic strategic site for which David Lock Associates has secured outline planning permission. The other sites, where the practice is currently progressing planning for the coordinated implementation of the developments, are Houlton (the former Rugby Radio Station), Wintringham in St. Neots, and Alconbury and Waterbeach in South Cambs.
