Friday marked the end of our second week of Virtual Work Experience at David Lock Associates. Building on the success of our previous Virtual Work Experience, we wanted to expand the number of students that could take part this time and also refined the programme to incorporate feedback from our previous attendees. We were lucky enough to welcome ten wonderful Urban Design and Planning students from across the UK and internationally, all of whom were incredibly engaging and personable. We were really impressed with everyone’s enthusiasm and hard work during the week. We feel incredibly privileged to have played a small part in the careers of students who we’re sure will grow to become the next generation of Built Environment professionals that we all need. We wish them all the very best of luck for the future and hope to keep in touch.
Special thanks to those within DLA who helped to facilitate the programme which included insights in to viability, green belt and planning appraisals. Thanks also to James Scott for a great insight into Urban&Civic and the Master Developer approach.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about the Virtual Work Experience programme (vowen@davidlock.com) or if you’d like to be considered for our Virtual Work Experience at Easter, forward your CV and Covering Letter, stating why you’d like to be involved to Rosalind Collier (rcollier@davidlock.com).
