• Working with major landowners, DLA led the masterplanning of more than 2,000 homes, an Xscape complex, new business uses, new community facilities, public parkland and significant new infrastructure.
  • DLA secured outline planning consent, followed by the negotiation of reserved matters for key strategic infrastructure components and advance works (including new roads, utilities, landscaping, decontamination, ground raising and flood attenuation).
  • DLA also prepared detailed design/ development briefs for each land parcel, approved by the Council, to guide development management decisions and used to market sites and underpin sale agreements.
  • DLA subsequently submitted and negotiated detailed consents for several of the development components.
  • Many of the components of the master plan have been implemented.
