David Lock Honoured by TCPA

Last week our founder, David Lock CBE, was honoured at a Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) event held in Welwyn Garden City, celebrating the recent award of the Ebenezer Howard Medal. At the event, which was sponsored and supported by Tarmac, David gave a talk on ‘Garden Cities and Practical Idealism,’ taken from a paper which you can read in full here. Throughout his career, David has dedicated himself to promoting the significance of the Garden City Movement and advocating for better planning practices. His long-standing involvement with the TCPA endures as he holds the position of Vice President for the charity and regularly contributes to their journal with his ‘Off the Fence’ articles.
