We’re delighted that the Epsom Town Centre Masterplan has been shortlisted in the Best Plan category at the RTPI South East Awards for Planning Excellence, which recognises ambitious, evidence-based planning that enables effective, place-led growth.

We are proud to have prepared the master plan with the excellent planning team at Epsom and Ewell Borough Council, alongside The Future Fox who provided prop-tech support for community engagement.

The Masterplan sets out a strong, deliverable vision for the future of Epsom’s town centre, supported by clear objectives and a practical framework for regeneration. It addresses some of the key challenges facing town centres across the UK; economic resilience, public realm quality, need for active travel options, with a focus on finding opportunities to meet housing demand. The Masterplan responds to Epsom’s townscape and heritage assets and strengthens its green infrastructure and public realm networks, while promoting opportunities for local businesses and residents.

Congratulations to the team, and to all other shortlisted projects.
