Central Primary Street gets approval at Rugby

David Lock Associates has secured reserved matters approval for the Central Primary Street at the Radio Station Rugby site. This critical piece of infrastructure now enables a continuous route through the site to be constructed, which will allow direct access to the key employment area at DIRFT and Rugby town centre.The Central Primary Street runs through the site together with a series of wildlife corridors which help to frame the future phases of Radio Station Rugby. These will be brought forward through new ‘Key Phases’ to deliver the 6,200 homes, up to 31 hectares of employment uses, secondary school and three primary schools approved as part of the Outline Planning Permission. Housebuilders are building out the first two Key Phases on the Radio Station Site with a number of the completed homes now occupied. The Tuning Fork café at Dollman Farm has been completed and provides a successful community hub in the centre of Key Phase 1.
