Detailed Planning Permission Secured for Baytree Leeds

David Lock Associates (DLA), on behalf of our client Baytree Logistics Development Ltd, has secured detailed planning permission for the redevelopment of the former Maritime container depot in Leeds. DLA worked as planning advisors alondside a team of co-consultants, including Savills, Chetwoods, RSK, DeltaSimons, Burrows Graham, S.A.J Transport Consultants, Aspect Landscape Planning, Hydrock, Synergy Building Services, Development Intelligence, JLL, DTRE and CDM Contract Services. The recently approved scheme, next to the Leeds Freightliner Terminal, has been designed to increase site coverage by 300% with an EPC Grade A logistics development built to a BREEAM ‘outstanding’ rating. Features on site include sports provision, roof terrace and amenity areas for employees with cycle parking and electric vehicle charging as standard, these facilities were put in place to improve the experience of working at the new logistics hub. A new vehicular access off Leodis Way is included to facilitate improved connectivity to the region via the A61 and the A639. You can read more about Baytree Leeds on their website.
