Green light for Garden Neighbourhood plan in Suffolk

This is a custom heading element.A master plan prepared by DLA for a new garden neighbourhood adjoining Beccles and Worlingham in East Suffolk has been adopted as part of a Local Plan. DLA were appointed by Waveney District Council (now East Suffolk Council) in 2017 to assist in the preparation of their draft Local Plan that included a large allocation of 1,250 homes, local centre, primary school, country park and employment land. A comprehensive master plan was produced and refined through extensive stakeholder engagement. The Local Plan, which included the master plan, was adopted at the end of March with the Local Plan inspector endorsing the design-led approach taken to the garden neighbourhood.
