Looking to the future for Hinckley Town Centre

This is a custom heading element.A public consultation on the future of Hinckley town centre's public spaces has been launched this weekend (21/06/19). David Lock Associates has drawn up a masterplan, working closely with Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, setting out some ideas for potential improvements to the town centre's public spaces and local residents and businesses are being invited to have their say on the way the town centre's streets and spaces could look in the future. Some of these ideas include: * Creating a pedestrian loop to be called the 'Hinckley Hoop' with links that connect the town centre's key attractions * Improvements to streets and spaces at Argent's Mead, Lower Bond Street and King Street, Regent Street, the entrance to the railway station and between Castle Street and the new Aldi supermarket development * Future improvements to Castle Street, Station Road and main roads including the Rugby Road/Trinity Lane and Stockwell Head/Holliers Walk corridors * Enhanced pedestrian signage to help people find their way around the town centre Members of the public who live, work or visit the town centre have four weeks to take a look at the latest ideas and give their views.
