This is a custom heading element.DLA is delighted to welcome two new recruits this week. We are pleased to welcome back Andrew Williamson who joins us as a Senior Associate to take up the position of Creative Visualiser.  Andrew has an unusually varied career; as an architect he worked for some years on the new British Library at Euston; as an architectural illustrator he has produced images for high-profile practices including Conran Roche and Terry Farrell & Partners; and as a concept artist and VFX art director he has worked on films including the Harry Potter series, Gravity, and several Marvel Blockbusters. Andrew’s association with David Lock Associates goes back to the late 1990s, when as a freelance illustrator his architectural training enabled him to help give visual expression to our strategic visions. He has now re-joined the company full time with a brief to tell DLA’s visual stories in distinctive, exciting and relevant ways. Owen Reading is also joining us as an Urban Designer after graduating with an MA in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes University. Whilst there, he won the prize for Best Overall Performance through the 2017-18 academic year. His work covers design for inclusivity within cities, contributing to environmental sustainability, rights to the city concepts and the urban housing crisis. Illustration by Andrew Williamson
