This is a custom heading element.DLA has negotiated reserved matters and listed building consent for a 6FE secondary / 6th form school at Houlton, Rugby. Houlton School will be housed partly in the Grade II listed C Station building at the heart of the former Rugby Radio Station site. The listed building will be sensitively converted to accommodate dining, drama, arts, assembly and 6th form spaces.  Two new build teaching blocks, a sports block and pitches are also consented as part of the school campus.  The scheme has been designed by van Heyningen and Haward Architects. Construction will begin immediately with the school opening in September 2021, well in advance of the triggers for its delivery in the S106 agreement.  Houlton School is located in the future District Centre at the heart of the wider Houlton community which will also feature, when complete, 6,200 homes, up to 16 hectares of employment uses and three primary schools (one of which is already open.) DLA has advised RRSLP, a joint venture between BT and Aviva Investors, and more recently Urban&Civic, on the promotion of the site and undertaken the detailed masterplanning since consultation on its future commenced in 2003.
